This project has no end in sight and is only limited by the number of volunteers that participate. You do not need to
be a lion to join in the fun and the heartfelt reward your efforts bring to others in the world.
You do not have to have any specific knowledge of construction or optics. Your willingness to role up your selves and
get involved is all we ask. We will teach you how to fill prescriptions, to do part of the eye exams, and to do construction
projects.
We will always have interpreters along on our trips south of the border. The projects we undertake are always with the
cooperation of the local lions and at their request. The appropriate paper work and what we are doing is documented at the
border crossing before our trip even begins. There is phone access from Mexico to the USA if necessary.
Already the project involves many people and hundreds of hours before any trip gets started. There is no financial compensation
made for your efforts, just the reward you get when what you have done, brings a tear of joy, to another human being.
